The RR office is located in the Lahusen Building, a Historical building in Buenos Aires designed and built in 1926 by the Architect Ernesto Sackmann, who also designed and constructed other famous buildings in Buenos Aires, such as the Central Post Office. The facade obtained the 2nd price in the City Hall Contest for the buildings finished in 1926.
The building was constructed as a central office of a livestock company that managed a big herd of sheep in Patagonia region. Wool was sent by train in Buenos Aires, and then exported it by ship to Europe. The building acted as workplace and house for administrative and manufacture employees.
